UET RESEARCH CENTRE, NIGERIA

UET established its presence in Africa by starting its Nigeria Research Centre in the Oyo state in the  early 2017. UET Nigeria is setting up a full flagged campus in the Oyo state which is likely to be completed by 2021 which will house a full range of educational programs from certificate level diploma courses to research based doctoral programs in major subjects. Equipped with modern research facilities and renowned faculties, the centre is destined to achieve a status of a distinctive education hub in Africa.

University campus is coming up fast in an imposing 100 acres of land in the UET village near Imoba. Corporate & industry collaborations are sought to make most of the curriculum industry friendly and the academic programs embossed to drive the industry into the modern era of technology as well as to seek the industry patronage  to ensure incessant funds for the campus and later for the ambitious research programs.

The other research centres of UET, Sierra Lione, Ghana and Kenya will function under the guidance and leadership of Nigeria centre.    More research centres are being facilitated in other countries of Africa which are going to be with rich heritage in academia and a global reputation in academic excellence, educational integrity and high quality support services for research led innovations.

Currently the university has the patronage of Asian African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI), an international industrial chamber that act as a trade & business promoting body, supporting SMEs and industries in the Asian and African region and helps them build better economic growth and sustainable business.
